Position Overview:

If you've tinkered with computers, taught yourself a computer language for fun, or automated something just for the challenge, you're the perfect candidate for this opportunity. We are offering a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with young entrepreneurs at a successful small business. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is addicted to computers and drawn to programming. We would like to find someone that prides themselves on being a well-rounded candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong problem solving skills.
  • This person should be able to grasp the big picture of a project, yet be able to break it down to accomplish the task.
  • It is extremely critical that the candidate is able to accomplish a lot in a short timeframe.
  • The ability to work with little or no supervision is a must.
  • Software development and/or testing experience a plus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, Support, and Develop Software along with offering IT, training, and solution consultation to potential and existing customers.
  • Take ownership of new projects/modules as part of a larger suite of products we currently offer.
  • Improve on existing code by taking on customer requests and reported bugs
  • Define requirements, research methods to accomplish tasks, break down the project and create a timeline, occasionally coordinate internal and external resources to help accomplish the goal, and deliver on or before the deadline.
  • Work with customers to release new modules and work onsite to perfect and improve deliverable.
  • Occasionally support sales objectives by preparing or presenting demos or customer installs.
  • Occasionally travel to remote customer locations to demo product, roll out software, or offer support.
  • Work directly with management to offer suggestions and develop solutions for internal and customer process improvement.
