McDonough and Associates commits to OrderSavant to allow their sales staff to have a common quoting system that will encourage follow up and make staff more efficient. In addition, McDonough agreed to implement Savance's eDocSavant to reduce the amount of overhead associated with filing and locating documents such as proof of deliveries. McDonough is a leading manufacturer’s rep offering distributors lines such as B-Line and Cantex. McDonough and several distributors hope to leverage the Internet and OrderSavant to enable the RFQ and Quote process to be completely electronic. This would allow a distributor such as Service Electric to send an RFQ to McDonough via OrderSavant, McDonough to open the RFQ with OrderSavant and put in price and availability and return it electronically to Service, which in turn could use those figures for their initial bid to their customer.
