Visteon/ACH's first line, Line 6A, went fully operational and now is logging critical plant floor operations. In addition, it is capturing a bar-coded serial number from each part as it passes through the processes. Savance's software uses this information to produce labels with the machines it ran through, the parameters, and if any of the tests failed, a large message to ensure the part does not ship to their clients. In addition, with Savance's Datamiser data collection software Visteon can now produce reports on demand, have them automatically print on the hour, and have them automatically e-mailed/paged on a given time basis or on an out-of-spec situation.
