Position Overview:

The position is primarily responsible for the implementation, project management, customer training, business analysis, solution design, gap analysis, software installation, software configuration, testing, and training leading up to a Savance Enterprise ERP Software go-live. The Implementation Specialist will work directly with clients to assist with data file conversion. In addition, the Implementation Specialist will play a key role in post-live support throughout the client and Savance Enterprise’s relationship.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with the project teams to ensure the project is delivered to plan and on budget

  • Sets and manages expectations throughout the full project lifecycle

  • Acts as the first point of contact throughout the project lifecycle

  • Install and implement software on servers, PCs, and terminals

  • Responsible for processing work and advising via telephone, video conference, and live with clients

  • Analyze business requirements and risks associated with client projects and reports to leadership

  • Identifies and documents change requests

  • Configures software to meet the required solution design

  • Supports the client in testing the system prior to going live

  • Provides ongoing support following go-live

Requirements & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering full lifecycle implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning software solution such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/NAV, Sage, Netsuite, Epicor, DDI System, Access, or similar complex enterprise-level software. 

In addition, the ideal candidate will have: 

  • 3+ years of experience implementing ERP systems or have played a key role as an SME on a project management team
  • BS in Accounting, Computer Science, or another business-related field, or equivalent market experience
  • Extensive knowledge of department processes: Procurement, Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Production and Planning
  • Experience working in Manufacturing and/or Distribution industries preferred
  • Strong project management skills, with excellent customer training skills
  • Understanding of software delivery processes and methodologies
  • Flexible and able to work effectively across all levels

Additional Skills/Critical Attributes (would be a plus): 

  • Implementation accreditations for enterprise / financial management / ERP / MRP / Accounting software or similar is advantageous
  • Great problem solver
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with a positive “can-do” approach
  • Ability to work directly with the customer
