Position Overview:

The Software Implementation Specialist manages multiple large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementations and leads all facets and stages of the implementation. The software implementation specialist will be the primary point of contact between Savance and the client until software go-live is complete. The software implementation specialist will also be responsible for leveraging internal resources to execute certain go-live related tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage project from start to finish ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget
  • Create, implement and execute projects plans
  • Create and assign tasks and due dates for internal and customer project members in order to ensure successful delivery of the project
  • Leverage project management software to organize projects
  • Create functional specifications for required software changes
  • Perform business analysis to understand customers internal processes and customize Savance process documentation as needed
  • Conduct product training
  • Work with sales team to ensure customer relationships are adequately nurtured
  • Create and update new and existing knowledge base articles

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years work experience (required)
  • College Degree (preferred)
  • Experience with wholesale distribution (preferred)
  • Experience managing enterprise software implementations projects (preferred)
  • Highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
