As a Business Development Manager at Savance, you will drive our engine for growth by working with the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to qualify leads and collaboratively build our pipeline. We are looking for someone who will get excited about engaging with prospects and discovering their needs and pain points. In order to succeed, you will need to be able to identify high value opportunities and be capable of articulating Savance’s value proposition.
We take a strategy-driven and analytical approach to sales and business development; and are looking for someone who is confident prospecting and qualifying opportunities, building relationships, and working with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to create key tools and assets that drive growth. As a Business Development Manager with Savance, you will:
- Connect with Marketing-generated leads in order to qualify them as sales opportunities.
- Move qualified leads through the funnel, connect them to a sales executive, and ensure a good hand-off is made.
- Identify businesses, verticals, and markets with high potential; and execute outbound strategies to bring them to Savance.
- Develop and lead campaigns from awareness generation to qualification and determine how to best scale them.
- Standardize playbooks and best practices for interactions with prospects.
- Connect with potential customers by responding to inquiries generated from Marketing, through strategic warm calling, or through your own efforts of outbound e-mail or drip campaigns.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to strategize and prospect for targeted accounts.
- Develop relationships with prospects to understand their pain points and uncover their needs.
- Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not initially result in a sales opportunity.
- Methodically update contact and activity information within the CRM.
- Collaborate and provide feedback and insights to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to help improve targeting and messaging.
