Position Overview:

Savance Enterprise, an ERP solution purpose-built for wholesale distributors, is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, motivated individual who loves sales. We’re interested in sales professionals who aren’t afraid to call and talk to strangers and who want a genuinely rewarding career path with serious long-term earning potential. If you’re the type of person with a keen sense for qualifying prospects and has a love for data, Savance wants you to be a part of our team! We’ll provide you with the onboarding, product training, technical and administrative support. You provide the initiative, desire and results.

Job Responsibilities:

The Business Development Representative’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research, qualify and call on customers in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other distribution vertices.
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers and prospects to meet company goals.
  • Cold call prospects and set appointments with new and existing leads throughout the sales process.
  • Represent the organization’s products and services to established customers and develop new prospects, while communicating Savance’s value proposition and key differentiators to prospective and returning customers.
  • Generate lists of customers for pre-show calling campaigns.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM. Track activity, prepare/maintain records for sales leads, update account status and incorporate data into the HubSpot workflow.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a sales analyst or sales representative. ERP software sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work 40+ hours.
  • CRM experience.
  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal skills are essential for this position. Applicant must be able to exchange detailed information with co-workers and our clients.
  • Applicant must be able to respond to client needs in a positive manner while maintaining a professional demeanor. Must have a professional appearance.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, sheets, mail, etc. Knowledge of MS Office is a plus.
  • College degree preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

  • Base salary plus performance pay (on target earnings: $70,000)
  • Bonuses based on performance
